Dear Mom, Melody and Bethany,
I learn so much when I'm able to brainstorm with, ask questions, listen to, share with and bounce ideas of other women who are also searching for the same things I am (beauty, meaning, and a way through life that's filled with more joy and ease instead of habitual thinking and perpetual struggle). Every time I have a conversation with my mom on the phone, I'm lifted up with ideas and motivation - some from her, some from me. From the little I know of you both, it seems like you might have a similar relationship? I've always wanted to know you better - schedules and locations make that hard. Would you like to join my mom and I, contributing to this blog just for the four of us? I was thinking it could be incredibly beneficial. We have so much in common (we're related, we have similar religious backgrounds, we're women searching for beauty and meaning) and yet, we're all so different. How powerful would it be if we could be inspired by each other's ideas, book recommendations, poetry, organization strategies and even questions or problems? If you would be willing to hop on every once in a while and contribute an inspiration, seek advice or simply give a recommendation for something lovely that works in your life, we could all benefit and springboard from the input or feel valuable by offering our help.
What do you think?
Terri
Who knows? Maybe between the four of us and the productivity inspired by this blog we could write a book someday?
ReplyDeleteLOVE THIS! Thanks for getting it started, Terri
ReplyDeleteGreat idea Terri! I've tried blogging and can't seem to be consistent, but this might work for me if we're responding to each other. I LOVE it too, Cherri!
ReplyDeleteAND...I love the Elizabeth Barrett Browning quote!!! One of my all-time favorites! :)
